COVID-19 has led to the cancellation of a huge number of high profile charity events. This has led to a significant and damaging reduction in revenues for charities at a crucial time. As an ambassador of Velindre (our local specialist Cancer Care Centre), Nine Wealth Management partner Andy Booth has joined a team of over 100 cyclists who are each cycling 1000 miles during the month of May – mainly from their own homes / garages. This amounts to over 30 miles a day in the saddle, which, from his own experience, is no mean feat. The team target is to raise £50,000 of much needed money for both Velindre and the local NHS Hospital Royal Glamorgan. St James’s Place is also matching everything raised by Andy to donate to the St James’s Place own charity Foundation.
